Between us and Rotherham
Rawmarsh runs from the hill above Parkgate up to the edge of Swinton, and it is on the way to almost everything we do in Rotherham, so it is one of the easiest places for us to fit in. We collect from all of it in S62: the terraces around Dale Road and the High Street, the estates off Green Lane, Haugh Road and Kilnhurst Road, Ryecroft and Sandhill, and the Parkgate side down by the retail park and the old works. Kilnhurst and Swinton are minutes away to the north; Greasbrough and Rotherham town to the south.
Hills and handbrakes
A fair number of Rawmarsh streets are steep, and a car that has sat with a seized handbrake on a slope is a common job here. Say so when you book — it is normal — and the driver brings the winch kit. On-street loading is fine; we know which streets need the shorter lorry.
Next day, often same day
Rawmarsh goes out with the Rotherham run, so next working day is normal and same day is often possible if you book in the morning. If the car still drives you can bring it to the yard in Mexborough instead — ring first, and you are paid by bank transfer while you wait.
