Hoyland, Elsecar and the villages
Hoyland is terraces around the town centre and King Street, semis on the estates, and the newer housing towards Hoyland Common and Platts Common. Elsecar down the valley is older stone cottages around the heritage centre and the reservoir; Jump sits between Hoyland and Wombwell; Birdwell and Hoyland Common are towards the motorway. All of it is free collection.
Steep streets, no handbrake
A few Hoyland streets are steep, and a car that has sat on one until the handbrake seized is a normal job for us — when we know. Tell us when you book and the driver brings the winch and the right lorry. There is no extra charge for it.

The M1 at Birdwell makes Hoyland a quick run from the yard, and it is grouped with Wombwell and the south Barnsley villages.
