Two small towns
Ossett is stone terraces around the market place and the Green, semis on the estates towards Gawthorpe and the newer housing off Dewsbury Road. Horbury climbs the hill from the Calder — terraces around the centre, semis above, Horbury Bridge down by the river. Kerbside loading in the terraces is routine and a car on a drive is a five-minute job.

The motorway junction makes Ossett a straightforward run from the yard, and it is grouped with Wakefield and the Dewsbury side. Photo ID and proof of address for the registered keeper are checked, the car is compared with the booking, loaded, and the bank transfer sent once the car has been checked in at our yard: same day if we collect before 3pm, next working day if later. You do not need the V5C, though it helps.

It ends up at our own Authorised Treatment Facility in Mexborough, depolluted and recycled on site. The Certificate of Destruction is ours to issue, from our own DVLA login, and the DVLA hears from us that you are no longer the keeper.
