The car goes back to our own site in Mexborough to be depolluted and recycled, the Certificate of Destruction is issued from our own DVLA login, and we tell the DVLA you are no longer the keeper — which ends your liability for tax and insurance. MOT failures, non-runners, write-offs and cars that have sat on the drive for years are all taken; condition affects the price, never whether we come. No V5C? Photo ID and proof of address are all the law asks us to check.
