Pontefract is a market town of terraces around the centre, the castle and the racecourse, estates at Chequerfield, Carleton Glen and Monkhill, and newer housing on the edges towards Carleton and Darrington. We take MOT failures, non-runners and insurance write-offs as readily as anything else — condition affects the price, never whether we come.
